Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using sub.link (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. The Service is operated by Tilman Richter, Auf den Häfen 5, 28203 Bremen, Germany (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

sub.link is a link-in-bio platform that lets you publish a public profile page containing links, contact details, and other content. We offer a free tier and paid plans (Pro, Agency) with additional features such as custom domains and analytics.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and choose a unique username.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You may not create accounts on behalf of another person without their explicit consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to publish, distribute, or link to:

• Illegal content or content that violates applicable law
• Malware, phishing pages, or deceptive content
• Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Spam or unsolicited commercial communications
• Content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you publish on sub.link. By publishing content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display your content as necessary to operate the Service. We do not sell or share your content with third parties.

6. Paid Plans

Pro and Agency plans are billed via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us at hello@subnodes.net within 14 days of a charge if you believe you were billed in error. Prices are displayed excluding VAT where applicable.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or improvements at any time. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime or data loss.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your public profile will be removed and your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bremen, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
